[The first thing that is really noticeable is the Time Lord's nose. It's bright red and extremely swollen, and there's still dried blood crusted down his face. He looks positively miserable.]

So ah...Master broke my nose.

It wasn't on purpose! Wellllllll, no, yes, it was, but I deserved it. Weeelllll, sort of, past me deserved it, but...it's a long story.

Point being, how do I not make it so...lumpy? And painful?

Lonely. So he's done all those horrible things you and Jack have talked about out of a desire to be noticed?

Every time you tell one of us not to worry, you end up in a situation where we do. It's one of those sayings that at least Harry and I knew would end up haunting us. Like a promise of a vacation. Promise of a trip to the beach, and end up on Exxilon instead.
